CartPo enhances the online selling experience by allowing merchants to register, create products, and manage orders through a user-friendly interface. The platform’s comprehensive features support seamless product creation, inventory management, and order tracking.
Business Challenge:
CartPo was developed to address the challenges faced by merchants in managing a diverse range of products and tracking sales effectively. The project focused on creating:
- Product Creation Interface: A feature for merchants to register on CartPo, access a product creation interface, and choose “individual item” as a product type alongside bundles and packages. Merchants can add details for individual items, such as name, description, price, images, and inventory.
- Order and Transaction History: A system for merchants to view a history of all transactions and orders placed on their store. This includes a dedicated section for transaction and order history, where merchants can see all completed orders, order details, customer information, and order status (e.g., pending, processing, shipped, delivered).
Solution:
CartPo introduced a comprehensive approach to enhance the e-commerce experience for merchants:
- Product Creation Interface: Implemented a product creation interface that allows merchants to register, create individual items, and manage bundles and packages. Merchants can easily add product details such as name, description, price, images, and inventory, providing a streamlined process for product management.
- Order and Transaction History: Developed a dedicated section for transaction and order history, enabling merchants to view all completed orders, order details, customer information, and order status. This feature helps merchants track sales, manage inventory, and identify customer trends.
To ensure seamless functionality and user experience, the project utilized React for the user interface and Node.js for backend services. Agile methodologies enhanced team productivity and adaptability. The backend was supported by MongoDB for real-time database solutions and AWS for scalable cloud infrastructure. The user interface was designed to be intuitive and engaging, facilitating easy navigation and management.
